Just wanted to let everyone know that I will be out of town for the holiday weekend. I will be in a remote area that pretty much allows no internet access, so if you email me, I won't be able to get back with you until Tuesday morning!
On a side note, on Tuesday September 4th, I will be posting some available dates/times for ENGAGEMENT SESSIONS ONLY FOR CLIENTS WITH BOOKED WEDDINGS WITH ME. Like I said before, I am posting some of those early so my out of towners can get a head start with planning to come into town, to give them a better chance on snagging a date/time. Don't mind me spelling in caps; I promise I wasn't yelling, just making it easier to see :)

A Heads Up for October/November Sessions....
Just wanted to give everyone a heads up for October photo session availability- I know so many people want fall dates for photos, and I have so many people/couples waiting for dates- especially my couples booked with me for weddings. On that note, 60% of my brides and grooms are out-of-towners, so I will be posting dates for October a bit early so they can make travel plans, as well as there will be certain dates posted ONLY for couples that have weddings booked with me for their e-pics-this will go for October and November. Keep a look out on my blog for that, as I will give a heads up on when I will be posting. Keep in mind again that I posted a while back that there will be NO Sunday availability in October due to previous events booked; only weekday dates.
Keep in mind that November was AMAZING for photos last year, so don't give up if you can't get anything for October.
The loyalty from everyone is beyond amazing to me- I know this is a PITA for you to book- as I cringe whenever I post dates knowing that there will be alot of people who woke up early to hurry up and email me that won't get a session. Please know that 99.9% of you I know very well, and have been coming to me for a while now, and that I am doing the best I can to be fair. Know that I love each and every one of you, and if I could book every day with shoots just to see you again and to see a smile on your face, I would do it. I mean that from the bottom of my heart; I am so lucky to have you guys. xoxoxoxoxo

September Photo Session Availability
Now that it is 2012 and it has
been almost a year since I started booking sessions only on certain days
as
listed around the 15th of every month on my blog here, I must say it
has been working out pretty well for me and has been allowing me to
spend more time with family.
Besides
the approx. 15 sessions a month I am shooting as well as about 10
meetings a month for my business and not including the 60 hours of
editing a week I do, I also shoot 80
weddings per year on top of all that! I thrive off of keeping busy and
I believe that being busy also keeps in the "know-how" of new trends to
keep, stay away from, and just a ton of experience on top of the
photography degree I
attained 12 years ago. In January I hit my 800th wedding- I work
weddings almost every single Friday and Saturday!
In
general, the session pricing and what is included is generally the same,
except for a few small items- please read below what is included in the
sessions!
Session availability for the upcoming month for those inquiring about booking a: Senior
Photo Session; Family Photo Session; Maternity Session; Boudoir Photo
Session; Animal Photo Session; Engagement Photo Session and Newborn
Photo Sessions will generally be posted on or around the 15th of
every month (for example session dates for February will be posted
around January 15th); and I will do my best to let everyone know here on
my blog when specifically they will be posted. Booking sessions are on
a first come, first served basis and your best bet is to pick up to 3
dates/times that will work for you. For
newborn sessions, please pick a date closest to your actual due date,
and then we can work around the actual date he/she is born.
Please be sure to pick a location, or to at
least have something in mind when you email me. Once I answer your
email in the order it was received and the date/time is available, I
will send you a confirmation email confirming the date/time/location of
the session, the "inclement weather" date, as well as the total fee that
will be due the day of the session. Please see below for the pricing
for all sessions, as well as what is included. Please also note, more in
depth the following:
*A specified "bad
weather" date will given to you at the time of booking the appointment,
if we have an outdoor shoot scheduled. This is only for inclement
weather and is not used as a "reschedule" date if you can no longer make
your appointment. I will email you the morning of our shoot if weather
is expected to be bad for a good part of the day, which will be at my call (bringing
electronic equipment in the rain won't work, neither will sessions in
the goopy mud since I like to do
sitting/laying shots) lol) Please understand that if we have an outdoor
scheduled shoot, if it rains the day of the session we cannot change it
to an indoor shoot- these days everyone wants money for photos inside
of their "haven," and it is too difficult last minute to schedule- we
will just use the rain "reschedule" date I will give you when you book.
*I totally understand that many of you are out of towners, and sometimes this can be difficult to schedule. Just pretty please understand that I am doing my best not only to be able to have a social life with my family, but also not to make you have to book out 6 months in advance like the past. On top of that, it is important to get photos to my peeps (you) in a timely manner, so this is helping with that :)
*If the dates I list on my blog don't work with your schedule, just wait until right around the 15th of the month when I post the availability I have for the next month.
Included in ALL the above listed session is the following:

*Approx. 300 high resolution images captured and burned on a DVD
*Approx. 20 "edited" images- aka BW, Sepia, color enhancements, etc, which will be my favorite photos I make these enhancements to- also burned on a DVD

*Photo release so you may make copies whenever and wherever you wish

The Cost Is.......
*The cost is $175 for Family/Children Sessions (for families up to five people) and all other above listed sessions.
Payment is due the day
of the session, and travel fees are as follows: Anything
within 15 miles of Dearborn, MI 48124 there is no extra fee; 15-25
miles $35; 26-40 miles $45; (over 40 miles, please inquire)*Engagement sessions for booked wedding photography clients of Amanda Williams Photography: $150 Same travel fees listed above apply.

Weddings!
My 2012 calendar has been filled up for months now, and 2013 is on it's way! I don't have very many openings left for 2013, just so everyone knows! I have began booking for 2014 a few months ago, and just recently booked my first wedding of 2015!
