How Many?

I get asked all the time how busy I am, and MOSTLY everyone gets blogged, but not every shoot.........I have broke it down to how many I do and what I do, just as an FYI :) Keep in mind this is from 2009.

Weddings.....82 per year
Engagement sessions.....50 per year
Family/Children Sessions.....77 per year
Senior Photo Sessions.....15 per year
Boudoir Session.....30 per year- THESE ARE NOT BLOGGED
Maternity Sessions.....25 per year- THESE ARE NOT BLOGGED
MISC Sessions.....15 per year

As you can see, I work ALOT. Generally, I put in roughly 75 hours of work per week which includes actually being at a wedding/shoot and the editing portion. I am a busy bee!

Jennifer and Don

I really need to do some catching up on my wedding blogging! I shoot about 80 weddings a year, so I have from August till now to to blog still for weddings- so I have to get a moving!

This wedding was a special one for me- seeing it was family and all- Jennifer is my Sister-In-Law's Sister!

I started at the hotel by the airport where Jenny and her girls were getting ready. After some candids there, I headed out to the chapel, the Little Wedding Chapel on Telegraph road. I took my niece and nephew with me in my car so the "big girls" could have some time to themselves, and so my sister in law Kim didn't have to worry about taking care of the kids and getting them there!

Once girls arrived, they hid in the back room as the guys arrived, so they would not be seen. Once the ceremony was over and the family photos were complete, the bridal party and family headed over to the reception while I met Jenny and Don at Heritage Park for some photos of just them.

The sun was at a perfect point n the day for photos, and it was soooooo relaxing being it was just us- less people for me to have to yell at and gather together, lol.
The ride back to the hall was about 20 minutes- which was perfect timing for us to get back, have the grand entrance, cake cutting and toasts.

Congrats Jenny and Don- love you guys! xoxoxoxoox

Future Brides Tip: If you are having a summer wedding, ask your hall if they turn on the air conditioner just before guests are to arrive, or is it gets turned on in the morning- hours before the reception is to begin. It didn't occur to me- or the bride- to ask until it was Uber hot for the reception.

It's a Girl for Robyn and Chris!
