Considering the mild summer we have had for 2009, this day was pretty warm! it certainly was a lovely day for Kristin and Greg though- no matter what temperature!
I started the day off in East China at Kristin's parents house where her and her girls were getting ready. It just so happens, that Kristin's Grandparents lived right next door to her parents! This is a rural area with abundant farmland, so there were plenty of options for pre-ceremony photos, especially since Greg and his groomsmen were getting ready at the Grandparents home!
After some photos of the girls, I went next door to get the photos of the guys on the farm. I raced back to get the photos of Kristin leaving with her dad in his 1929 Model A car- what a beauty! Ok, I am selfish here- I liked it best because it was a great prop for the photos!
From there I headed over to the church for the ceremony, which might I add was complete with bagpiper; then over to Golden Hawk Country Club for the reception. While guests were arriving, we all went onto the golf course for photos. The bridal party was super accommodating and did every crazy thing I asked them to do- perfect! Once I was finished with the bridal party photos, I finished up with just Greg and Kristin- then we headed inside for dinner to the unique and scenic ballroom!
Congrats Greg and Kristin! It was a complete honor to be a part of your day! And I will never, ever forget our adventures in Brush Park, LOL!!!!!!!
