Booking a Session

HOW TO BOOK A SESSION

1.  Once you see the available times pop up, try to choose 3 that would work for you- this is how you will book the following sessions: Senior photos, engagement, family/children, boudoir and  maternity.
2.  Pick your location- the location needs to be included in the email with what days/times you would like
3.  Email at photographeramandawilliams@yahoo.com with the above information
4.  I answer emails in the order I receive them.  Give me some time to get back to you to either confirm a session or to let you know everything was filled by the time you emailed.
5.  Every month is different regarding how fast I fill up.  Some months I have filled up in 3 minutes after posting availability.  Others, I filled up in about a week.

NEWBORN SESSIONS

I book newborn sessions a bit differently- because you won't know exactly when the new bundle will be born, please email me directly and we will set up a tentative date- you do not need to wait for availability on my blog to book a newborn session- BUT YOU MUST EMAIL ME 30 DAYS PRIOR TO YOUR ANTICIPATED DELIVERY DATE.  Once we have a tentative date picked, you will keep me updated on exactly when the baby is born and we can work around that date. I prefer to photograph newborns within 2 weeks of birth.

WHEN YOUR SESSION IS CONFIRMED

1.  If the slot you picked is available, I will email you a confirmation.  This will include the day, time, location, inclement weather date, contact info for me as well as the total cost to you.  Some tips  will also be included with this confirmation to help you prepare for our session.

THE DAY OF THE SESSION

1.  Please arrive at least 10 minutes early for your session time- especially if you have kids.  Because I schedule sessions for one hour, if you arrive late and I have to be at another session after you, I can only shoot for what is left of our hour session.  Obviously, if I am late, you will get your full time as it is not your fault!
2.  When I confirmed the session with you, I gave you an inclement weather date.  This is only used for bad weather/driving conditions or any other emergency on my end.  If there are any issues and the session might not happen, I will email you.  PLEASE keep a look out in your email for any messages from me.  The inclement weather date is a big deal because if the weather isn't good or something else happens on my end, you know that there is another date set aside for you.  Keep in mind that the inclement weather date is in most cases the VERY NEXT WEEK, SAME DAY, SAME TIME.

AFTER THE SESSION

1.  Within about 24-48 hours after the session, I will post some sample images from our shoot on this blog.  If you booked a boudoir or maternity session with me, those images will be emailed to you and WILL NOT be put on my blog for privacy reasons.  All images that I post/email are high resolution images. I purposely do not put my logo or a watermark on them so you can use them right away for whatever you want.  I think putting a logo on your photos takes away from the story of the photo- if someone wants to know who took your photos, I am sure you will tell them ;)
2.  I always say to give me about 5 weeks to mail you everything, but in general, I try to get things out quicker than that.  It all depends on how many weddings I am editing, if I am out of town during your editing time, if there is a Holiday..........and so on....  Please know that I take great care in editing, and don't just slap some in Photoshop to get them out faster.  Just like photography, the editing process is an art, and I enjoy it and want to keep enjoying it, so have patience with me! ;)

WHAT IS INCLUDED FOR THE PRICE?

1. One hour session time at the location of your choice; please see below for travel rates depending on the mileage
2. Approximately 400 images captured
3  Approximately 25 edited images
4. DVD with two folders on it- one folder with the originals, and another with the edited images
5. Photo release so you can take your DVD anywhere and make prints
6.  (1) 8x10 print and (5) 5x7 prints, chosen by me
7. $175 (depending on travel) for all shoots, and $150 (depending on travel) for engagement shoots for couples that have their wedding booked with me
8.  Make sure I have your mailing address, because once I have everything ready to mail you, I will do so via the United States Post Office.  I will mail them with priority mail.

TRAVEL FEES
All sessions that take place within 15 miles of my home zip code of 48124 (Dearborn) require no extra fees.  16-25 miles from 48124 is an extra $35; 26-40 miles is an extra $45 and 41-60 miles is an extra $60.  For anything over 60 miles from 48124, please contact me for that rate.
